Rock Lines Magazine would like to introduce Chelsea Brown of Gulf Coast Ink Studio 251. Chelsea has 12 years experience tattooing and brings her own unique style to Mansfield, Ohio. She was inspired by Kat Von D who paved the way for female tattoo artists. We had the opportunity to talk with Chelsea and she explained it was very difficult for her starting in the tattoo industry, but pure will and determination has paid off for this single mother of two. Tattooing has become a therapy session for some of her clients helping to cover up scars of their past. This will be her first year tattooing at Inkcarceration Festival, but she travels to dozens of conventions each year.
Chelsea specializes in scar tattoos, water color, and color pieces. When interacting with a new client she wants to get to know you and the meaning behind a clients tattoo idea, so she can help to create a custom tattoo. She is making time each day for some walk-in appointments, so if you’re looking for a tattoo this year at Inkcarceration make sure to contact her. Below you will find links and contact information as well as a photo gallery of her work.
