Rock N Race is the event that combines nostalgia drag racing and Rock N Roll!

With covid-19 running wild in Ohio, fans of music and sports are looking for anyway to find some normalcy to relieve the stress 2020 has been throwing at them. Dragway 42 is the place to do that……camping, fast cars and Rock-N-Roll. Due to rain Saturday evening and Sunday being a complete wash out our coverage of the event was a bit limited, but none the less a great opportunity to show what this event is all about. And if you missed Larry Dixon’s Top Fuel Experience, one lucky winner got the opportunity to ride along in the two seat dragster setting a new Dragway 42 record at 258.32 mph!!

Huge shout out to all the bands who traveled to be a part of the show, we all know that sometimes at events like this the bands get overlooked. This was Rock Lines Magazine’s chance to get out and share our passion for music and grab some photos of the bands. If you love Rockabilly, a good cover song or original music this was the place to be! With 170 acres to social distance you can grab some food from the vendors or cruise around looking for race collectibles. Even though the event had some weather issues, Rock Lines Magazine recommends you grab the family and head out to Dragway 42 and check it out! Now I know the rain cancelled some of the bands set to play but they still deserve to be mentioned. Below is a list of bands.
