There’s Life After Bobaflex for THE LONELY ONES
We here at Rock Lines Magazine had a great working relationship with the band formerly known as Bobaflex albeit with a different avenue. We were saddened when forming member, Shawn McCoy, decided to call it quits. We also understood and respected his decision to become a full time father. However we were very excited that the four remaining members brother Marty McCoy (vocals/guitar), Tommy Johnson (drums), Jymmy Toland (bass, vocals) and Jake Earley (guitar/vocals) decided to give it a go as a four piece band. So far everything that I have seen or heard tells me that their decision to become THE LONELY ONES was the right one.
To date, they have released a pair of original songs (“Eternal Sadness” and “The Lonely One”) with videos from their yet to be titled EP.
Add to that an outstanding cover of Queen’s “Flash/The Hero” and you have a solid beginning to the new adventure.

Despite the pandemic THE LONELY ONES have been working hard as they prepare to be ready when the nation can resume a somewhat normalcy to where we were. Check out my interview with Marty on the link below:
At the end of this article check out their other videos and a list of a few stops that the band has planned for later in the year.
Until next time this is Big L saying ‘keep those horns up and rock on!! \m/ \m/
