Absolute Intense Wrestling Unleashes “Go For Broke” April 8th!!!

Established in 2005, Absolute Intense Wrestling (AIW) has been a fixture in the Northeast Ohio sports entertainment scene, attracting hundreds of fans from all walks of life to its live events.  Unfortunately the pandemic has taken it’s toll on all forms of local entertainment, and hundreds of area fans have been sitting at home wondering when they would have a chance to see their favorite AIW stars in action. That will all change Thursday April 8th when AIW’s “Go For Broke” premiers on Independent Wrestling TV
The Details:
Wrestlers will compete in a series of matches in front of no fans over multiple weeks to earn “Biggins Bucks.” The competitors with the biggest bank accounts will then be able to cash out and enter themselves into the Chandler Biggins Memorial Tournament. They’ll fight for the Chandler Biggins Cup, which guarantees a shot at the AIW Championship of their choosing.
Here is where things get tricky….. the competitors will not know how many days, hours, minutes they left they have to build their bank accounts before it is time to cash out and enter the tournament. Also every competitor is responsible for keeping their own Biggins Bucks safe.  Finally, keep in mind, it doesn’t matter how many matches a competitor wins. It only matters how much money they have when the clock strikes zero…and well, wrestlers being wrestlers, you can imagine things might get dirty.
At Rock Lines Magazine, we are all about supporting the local entertainment industry, and “Go For Broke” is truly a home grown DIY event. The series, taking place in Cleveland Ohio, was shot in house by AIW staff on an iPad Pro. Part reality show, part competition, “Go For Broke” features in depth personal interviews, giving fans a chance to learn more  about members of the AIW roster. Have a favorite wrestler? One of those interviews touch your heart? At the beginning of each match, cash apps for each competitor will be listed and fans will have the opportunity to personally support their favorite wrestler by tossing some cash their way.

“Go For Broke” will debut on Thursday April 8th at 6:00PM Eastern on Independent Wrestling TV and will air weekly every Tuesday night at 10:00PM starting on April 13th.

Now here is some good news and some bad news….The good news, this is not the only upcoming AIW event.

There are two live shows coming up the end of March at one of our favorite local entertainment venues, The Odeon Concert Club

The bad news, both the events sold out at lightning speed! So be sure to click HERE and join the AIW mailing list, so you can be first to know when the next live event is about to go down.
