BLACKLIST UNION Release New Single “Letters from the Psych Ward” + Official Music Video! Interview with lead vocalist, Tony West!

Tony West has seen and lived it all. Born and raised in the Bronx New York, the frontman of Blacklist Union made the trek across the country to Los Angeles in search of fame working as a singer, a passion set in his youth.

West founded the Blacklist Union and found immediate success. That success hit the pinnacle when the band released “Back To Momo”, an album that was dubbed ‘the best record I have heard since “Appetite For Destruction” (Guns-N-Roses debut album) by G-N-R’s manager, Doug Goldstein.

Life has dealt West plenty of heartache, but that is his inspiration into his song writing and has been since day one.

“For me, it’s like casting out darkness,” West has stated. “Music is like magic to me. It can cast things out and to help other people relate.”

One of West’s passions is mental health, having experienced the lowest of what life brings to the highest of reaching success in his career of choice. His trials and tribulation through life at such a young age culminated in Blacklist Union’s single “Letters From the Psych Ward”, which was released on May 12. 2023. You can see the video below.

West has experienced plenty at such a young age and has appeared to have conquered the beasts that come from deep within. He fought his way through tumultuous issues that many have succumbed to. His successful journey will be beneficial to others as he turns those life experiences into truly deep and therapeutic rock-n-roll.
