NEW YORK, NY – AUGUST 13, 2021 – Critically acclaimed rock act From Ashes To New just released their new EP Quarantine Chronicles Vol. 2 via Better Noise Music. The intimate project is the second in their three-part Quarantine Chronicles EP series. The project consists of new music, covers, features, and previously released tracks that the band is releasing before going out on tour to reconnect with fans this summer, and this installment features a collaboration with electric violinist Caitlin De Ville. On these tracks, the band reminds fans that sometimes people think they know what’s best for us, but what’s really best is if they are banished from our lives. The final EP in the series will be released later this summer. Quarantine Chronicles Vol. 2 is now available to stream across digital platforms HERE.
The band said of the latest EP, “This second installment also carries the themes of darkness and hope, and we know our fans will enjoy the duality of this EP. We hope the music will continue to carry us through this time, as we work on our new album and connect with fans on tour this summer.”
Today, the band also premiered a new video for “Light Up The Sky” from the EP. The track is a follow up release to From Ashes To New’s critically acclaimed third studio albumPanic, released last year. Watch the new video HERE.

ABOUT FROM ASHES TO NEW
With the release of their eponymous debut EP in 2013, From Ashes To New saw a welcomed arrival to rock music, blending classic guitar-driven sonics with rap and metal influences. Their unique stylings and ability to captivate loyal fans have since led to a record deal with leading rock label Better Noise Music, three full studio albums, top placements on Billboard’s Hard Rock Chart, collaborations with globally acclaimed artists like The HU and Johnny 3 Tears, millions of streams and video views, and tours alongside some of the biggest-selling bands in the world: Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach, Ice Nine Kills and P.O.D.
Ever-evolving and pushing the boundaries of what it means to be a modern rock band, From Ashes To New, composed of vocalists Matt Brandyberry and Danny Case, guitarist Lance Dowdle, and drummer Matt Madiro, reached new heights of critical acclaim and artistic achievement on their third full-length album, 2020’s PANIC. Rock ‘N’ Load Magazine said it best in their review of the project, deeming it, “undeniable musical magnetism.” As they prepare to make their return to live music after the global lockdown, the band is setting forth a three-part series of EPs – aptly titled the Quarantine Chronicles – which encapsulate the reflective state they’ve found while in the studio over the past year. The first offering, released June 25, 2021, comes with a re-energized version of fan-favorite PANIC track “Bulletproof,” now featuring Johnny 3 Tears. Loudwire praised the collaboration, writing that the song’s, “Ebb and flow beat should instigate an unconscious head nod as it rolls along.”
With an already impressive list of achievements behind them, the group continues to find inspiration by looking both inward and outward. Their next project will surely be one to watch for music fans far and wide.
