Rock Lines Magazine would like to introduce Tommy Gunns, who will be returning to Inkcarceration 2021.
Tommy became interested in tattoos at a young age when his good friends mom was dating a Hells Angel and he was seeing these big guys on Harley’s, covered in tattoos. After completing his time in the United States Army, Tommy opened a construction company that became very successful. After years in the construction business he found his life kinda stale and was looking for a new challenge, so he sold his business and began an apprenticeship tattooing. In the first years of Tattooing he started to question his decision because he was not making the money he made previously. But, after honing his skills, he soon started to make a name for himself.
Tommy began to travel and compete, not long after that he was hand picked for the Ink Masters conventions and started piling up the awards. We always ask artists the most hours spent on a single tattoo. Tommy said 13 hours is the longest single sitting he has done, however some may require multiple sessions. Tommy Gunns Tattoo Shop opened in 2018 in Crestview, Florida. When you walk into his shop he wants you to feel welcome and comfortable, leaving his shop feeling like part of the family. Inkcarceration has become his favorite venue and looks forward to returning for years to come.
So if you’re looking to get work done by an award winning artist, here’s how he’s doing things this year. He will have a couple pre made designs he created for Inkcarceration 2021. All you have to do is pick the one you like and of course bring your wallet!
