DOYLE Rocks The King Of Clubs

The vegan monster of metal better know as Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein and his band made a stop on their latest tour in Columbus at TKOC on June 9th.  Joined by Red Devil Vortex, the show was a frightening good time for all who attended.

Red Devil Vortex

Red Devil Vortex took the stage first and got the crowd warmed up with their heavy headbanging metal that could leave a ringing in your ears for days. Welcoming and thanking the audience for opening the gates to the vortex by being there, lead vocalist Gabriel Connor incited mosh heaven when he told the crowd he wanted to see them get as crazy as they could.  Of course, they obliged.

The trio based out of Los Angeles, CA did a great job of showcasing why they were on this bill in the first place matching  the explosive hard core sound fans would expect to see from any opener in front of Doyle and did not have hard time getting everyone geared up for the main event.

Doyle

That vibe continued when Doyle hit the stage.  Alex “Wolfman” Story, Doyle, Brandon, and Luke came out with a commanding presence. This was the last show of the tour but you would have never been able to tell as they broke into the set with a high octane drive that lasted throughout the performance.  Wolfman prefaced every song with “this next song, it’s a love song, you can dance to it if you want to” causing the crowd to break into the furious dance of mosh more than a few times.  He himself even seemed to take that advice to heart as he thrashed around the stage until he reached the top of the wall of speakers where he took residence to sing for a few minutes.

Doyle put on the hard hitting show fans have come to love and expect from them.

The only time the crowd seemed to be remotely disappointed was the end of the night when they were hoping for that encore but did not receive it. Even then, no one left that venue let down by the show they had just witnessed.

If you don’t already know and want to see what Doyle has to offer for yourself make sure to check them out.
