Along Came A Spider channels their inner jock jams with ‘Stand Up And Rise’
Cleveland, Ohio — Along Came A Spider channels their inner jock jams with ‘Stand Up And Rise’, a hard rock anthem poised to be played at sporting events and parties. This marks the seventh single released from the band’s forthcoming full-length BLACKHOLE, due September 10th. The Cleveland-based act currently has an IndieGoGo campaign here to pre-sale the album.
“After a few songs with serious subject matters, we wanted to release something uplifting”, says drummer Tony Castillo. What arguably could be the band’s most radio-friendly track, ‘Stand Up And Rise’ features djent-y riffs and a big orchestral bridge, complete with sing-along gang vocals. Singer Jamie Miller belts with a ferocity similar to the late great Chester Bennington. ACAS is rounded out by guitarist Luke Fockler, bassist John Calo, and keyboardist Joel Sedlak.
The band is featured on this year’s Inkcarceration Festival alongside Slipknot, Chevelle, and Rob Zombie. Check the latest single here.
