A KILLER’S CONFESSION Celebrates First Sold Out Show in Ohio

November 11, 2023 (Mansfield, OH)

Fans from near and far were lined up outside The Electric Company for this massive sold out show. As Waylon explained during A Killer’s Confession‘s set, this was the first Ohio sell out. From what everyone witnessed tonight, it won’t be the last.

This is the second time witnessing these four live. Tonight was definitely a step up from last time. Maybe it was the sell out, the fact Waylon’s family was in attendance, or the set-list they had in store for us. Whatever it was, bottle it up.

Don’t get me wrong, the first time they were great. This time Waylon iced the rock n roll cake with an overload of emotion and passion.

So much of his personality shined through tonight, whether it was smiling and waving at fans and friends, or joking with his band members JP, Lee, and James as he went into a solo song, it was authentic and welcomed.

There was no more special moment tonight though as Waylon brought his two sons onto stage to introduce them, and thanked his wife for his continued sobriety and her undying support. He went from full fledged rock star, to the proudest family man in the room in an instant. This actually played a huge part in the special ending he had in store for us.

That special ending was the performance of three Mushroomhead songs to cap off a blistering set of songs from A Killer’s Confession catalog. The Mushroomhead songs was his son’s idea. He explained this was a way to address his previous abrupt exit and move on, saying it was not fair to the fans. He stated “This is closure.”

This was a celebration of everything that makes up Waylon and A Killer’s Confession. They are looking forward to dropping a new album Victim One in 2024. He stated about Victim One “This is where everything changes for AKC… in a good way”

If that “good way” has the vibe of tonight’s show, we are all in for a career changing moment.

I for one, cannot wait.

If you happened to miss this local show, AKC has announced another Ohio show December 15th. Tickets HERE.
