At Rock Lines Magazine we love our homegrown rock n’ roll, but when new music is released on Memorial Day, and is also a tribute to our United States Soldiers and citizens, all the better!
Enter Perfectly Damaged out of Mansfield Ohio, and their latest single “Pride”:

“My entire point of the song was getting back to who we are as a nation. My family was off the boat Italians that worked their asses off and were thankful to become American citizens. We’re a nation of diversity in beliefs, in religion, in so many things… but we’re together as one when it involves our basic freedoms. Our nation was founded on those freedoms. From our military to our every day citizens. So many of us are willing to do whatever it takes to make sure our children and our families get to enjoy all that so many have sacrificed for. Pride is a feeling… a gift…and something so many need to learn and feel again.” – lead vocalist Matt Pagani
The lyrics definitely embody that sentiment, and from the first lick of the guitar, the entire song is All American Rock N Roll. We are proud to be able to share this song with all of you.
