Raven Black’s Black Sonata is the must wicked in this band’s collection. Sticking with the bands horror theme and tributes to dark lullabies you are in for a treat. The dark metal carnival has taken a deep dive into the darkness, Fueled by personal loss, betrayal and anger. Black Sonata is the opportunity to finally let all that anger out. Raven will take you on a vocal journey of growls, screams and some of the best clean vocals to date. Black Sonata features 14 tracks that will take you into the bowels of hell, so you can experience the pain, anger, betrayal on a personal level. Having been able to listen to every song on this album multiple times, I can honestly say WoW!! what an album, it takes you all over the place with musical madness. Muppet lays down some amazing backing vocals on this album, and as always a blistering beat on the drum kit. Maezi on guitar is outstanding on this album, her riffs are solid and just add an amazing compliment to the Raven Black sound. This album can bring out your giggly inner self or it can help purge the inner demons of the soul, either way its a fun journey of dark metal. As a photographer and music lover since I was 8 years old, I can say this album is remarkable from start to Finnish. Being a part of the dark metal carnival has been a great ride, seeing so many amazing performances and tours from Raven Black over the years. No one knows what the future holds but music is something that lives on forever. Thank you Raven Black, for letting us tag along on your dark metal journey.
