ROCK LANSING Music Festival Offers A Heavy Hitting Lineup
Music festival season is rapidly approaching, and while the multiple day national promoter events are great, there’s something to be said for the more locally run single day shows. If you are in the Ohio, Michigan, Indiana area and looking for a festival in your own backyard allow me to present to you ROCK LANSING.
The May 10th event currently features the pure rock energy of headliner Saliva, and includes heavy hitters Ayron Jones, Crobot, and Any Given Sin, along with Conquer Divide, Shallow Side, Heartsick and many more rising stars.
Located in scenic Adado Riverfront Park, Rock Lansing’s ticket prices are reasonable, only $45 in advance, and at only $90 even VIP tix won’t break the bank. Leftover money for food and merch is always a good thing. Plus, the acts will be split between only two stages, so you see pretty much every band without having to walk miles and miles between multiple stages.
If you want to make a weekend of it, the Rock Lansing Festival Pre Party takes over Grewal Hall (224 S Washington Square, Lansing, MI, MI 48933) on Friday, May 9th featuring Of Virtue, Let It Rot, Black Note Graffiti and Accuser of The Brethren. And for sporty bunch, the inaugural Rock Lansing 5k is Saturday May 10th starting at 9am. Rock Lansing 5k will also take place at Adado Riverfront Park (201 E Shiawassee St, Lansing, MI 48933).
