Tony Smith (guitarist for Yesterday’s Hero) and Jeremy Schindorff (founder of NWO Metal Militia) played hosts to several hundred folks at Smith’s abode on Saturday!
Rock Lines Magazine was appreciative to be invited to cover the event once again. For those that were in attendance were witness to an outstanding event. Over twelve hours of some of the best local talent from Ohio, Michigan, and all points around.
The talent that was on display was second to none. It started with Illaura and continued through Yesterday’s Hero (at least for me). I am sure that The Convalecence and Heartsick presented great performances but for my first festival following my liver transplant surgery in December, I was ecstatic to last as long as I did. It helped that I got to enjoy the day with my two sons.
If you have never attended a Poolpartypalooza, I highly recommend that you look for the date of the 2025 event and get your ass there. Not only is a Tony a gracious host, but the local scene is as strong as any in the nation.
