Saul, Kingdom Collapse, and Remember Me rose to the occasion on Easter Sunday at The Token Lounge in Westland, Michigan!!

Saul, Kingdom Collapse and Remember Me rolled into The Token Lounge for stop 3 of their “More of the Same” tour on Easter evening!

Remember Me, a melodic metalcore band from Indiana, kicked things off for the night! The band is a combination of 2 projects morphing into one. They have quite a few shows on the books, and I look forward to seeing more from them.

Next in the lineup was Kingdom Collapse, which I became familiar with from hearing them on Sirius Octane. The 4-piece rock outfit hails from Texas and are a force to be reckoned with. Never Be Like You and Unbreakable were a couple of the hit songs played and let me tell you, they rocked!!

Closing out the night was finally Saul. When I first heard their hit song Brother on Octane back in 2019, I was absolutely blown away and instantly hooked. Saul was formed in Iowa in 2007 as a cover band called “Sequoia” before it transformed into the Saul we now know. Brothers Blake Bedsaul[vocals] and Zach Bedsaul[guitar] started the project. William McIlravy [bass guitar] and Myles Clayborne[drums] round out the 4-piece band. In addition to Brother, they played a couple of my personal favorites, King of Misery and Jack and Jill and Rise as Equals. They refer to their fans as “equals” and had everyone raise their hands in a unique “equal” symbolism. In addition, they have a pretty cool “equal” logo as well that is on a lot of their merch. Saul met every expectation I had and more. They rocked and they interacted with their loyal fans on and off the stage. Blake ran the merch table after the show, and I had the opportunity to chat with him. I also got to chat with William, Myles and Zach as well. I don’t think I could have met a nicer, more down to earth group of guys!! I will be making it a point to catch Saul any time they are in your area!
